Research Report on China＇s Software & Information Service Outsourcing Industry in 2009 Published
To get an in-depth and objective understanding on China's software and information service outsourcing industry development and the main problems, so as to grasp the requirements and make countermeasure, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center (CSIP) and Devott Co.,Ltd. (Chinasourcing) jointly carried out a research on China's Software & Information Service Outsourcing Industry in 2009. Commissioned to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the research is the third annual industry survey following the researches in 2007 and 2008. Based on the extensive first-hand industrial information and data (three years), an initial industrial database on China's Software and Information Service Outsourcing Industry has been established.
The main purpose of the research is to build China's Software and Information Service Outsourcing Industry Data-base (which includes databases of service provider, case, industrial park and talents etc.), record and deposit comprehensive data on China's software and information service outsourcing industry, and thus to formulate series reports and policies suggestions on this industry in China. The research results contribute to the accurate judgments on the national software and information service outsourcing industry. What's more, it provides a scientific basis and basic data for the Government to establish policies and measures to promote the development of software and information services outsourcing industry.
The research goes through five stages of questionnaire design, questionnaire distribution, questionnaire take-back, data analysis and report compilation. A total of 749 enterprises valid questionnaires, 79 parks valid questionnaires and 67 regions valid questionnaires have been taken back. With more research efforts and extensive scope, the researches on the cities and parks are also included this year. What's more, we also made macro-analysis on the whole software and service outsourcing industry of China. The report is divided into three volumes of ＂ Research report on China's Software & Information Service Outsourcing Enterprises in 2009＂, ＂ Research report on China's Software & Information Service Outsourcing Parks in 2009＂ and ＂ Macro Analysis report on China's Software & Information Service Outsourcing Industry in 2009＂.

On June 12, 2009, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially released the three reports on INT'L SOFT CHINA 2009 held in Beijing. As the only national report based on statistics and data, it will play a positive role in promoting the development of China's software and information services outsourcing industry.
